Restaurant Exterior Cleaning

The patio sells tables. The back-door walkway is the liability. Both need a contractor who works around service rather than through it.

Two Different Jobs Wearing One Uniform

Restaurant exterior work splits cleanly in two, and the two halves have almost nothing in common.

Front of house is revenue. The patio, the entry, the sidewalk and the awnings are the first thing a guest evaluates, and in a city where outdoor seating runs most of the year, a patio with black joints and stained furniture quietly costs covers. That work is seasonal, visible and worth timing well.

Back of house is exposure. The dumpster enclosure, the service walkway, the grease-affected concrete by the back door. These are the surfaces nobody photographs and nobody routinely cleans, and they are where grease builds into a genuine slip hazard on ground you are responsible for. In a climate that keeps them wet for eight months of the year, that is not a cosmetic question.

The back-of-house half of this is grease removal, which is chemistry and dwell time rather than pressure. Front of house is usually patio cleaning and the walkways guests cross, where algae is what makes a shaded approach slick.

How We Work a Restaurant

Built around your hours rather than ours, because a wash that costs you a dinner service was not worth doing.

Walk It With You First

We look at the patio, the entry, the service path and the enclosure together, and agree what is in scope. Back-of-house areas are usually worse than the operator realises, simply because nobody stands there looking at them.

Schedule Around Covers

Early morning, after close, or a genuine lull. We plan furniture moving and access so the work does not collide with a delivery or a service.

Degrease Before Pressure

Grease is lifted chemically and given dwell time. Pressure alone on a greasy slab spreads a thin film over a wider area and makes the problem larger, not smaller.

Contain and Manage Runoff

Grease-laden water is not something to send to the nearest storm drain. We work to contain and manage runoff appropriately for the surface and the site.

Reset the Space

Furniture back, surfaces rinsed, access clear before you open. You should arrive to a clean patio rather than to our cleanup.

What We Clean at a Restaurant

Front of house and back of house, usually on the same visit.

Patios & Outdoor Seating

Pavers, concrete and stone, including the joints where spill residue and algae collect out of sight.

Entryways & Sidewalks

The approach a guest walks, including gum, spill staining and the slick film that builds in shade.

Dumpster Pads & Enclosures

The highest-grime area on the property, and the one most likely to draw a comment or attract pests.

Back-of-House Walkways

Grease-affected service paths, degreased rather than blasted. The slip exposure that is genuinely yours.

Building Exterior & Awnings

Facade, soffits and awnings, soft washed at a setting matched to the material.

Drive-Thru & Service Lanes

Lanes and approach concrete, where traffic film and spill residue accumulate heavily.

Frequently Asked Questions

When can you work without closing us down?

Almost always outside service hours. For most restaurants that means early morning before opening or late at night after close, and for places doing all-day service it usually means a slow mid-afternoon window. We would rather plan the visit around your covers than cost you a service. Patio and sidewalk work in particular needs the furniture moved, which is far easier when nobody is sitting on it.

Does exterior cleaning affect a health inspection?

Exterior waste and refuse areas do fall within what inspectors look at, and a dumpster enclosure with standing grease, odour and pest attraction is a reasonable thing for them to raise. We are not inspectors and we would not tell you a wash guarantees anything. What we will say is that the back-of-house areas most likely to draw a comment are exactly the ones routine cleaning never reaches.

What is the real risk from grease on a walkway?

Slips, and the fact that the surface belongs to you. A grease film on a back-door walkway or a service path is slicker than almost anything else on a commercial property, and in this climate it is wet for most of the year on top of that. It is the one surface where the cost of not cleaning it is open-ended rather than cosmetic.

Do you clean kitchen exhaust hoods?

No. Interior kitchen exhaust and hood systems are a specialist trade with its own certification and we do not take that work. What we do is everything outside: the walkways, the patio, the dumpster pad and enclosure, the back-of-house concrete and the building exterior. If grease is reaching your exterior walls from a roof exhaust, we will clean the wall and tell you what we are seeing.

Commercial Power Washing Across Seattle & the Eastside

Restaurant work changes shape with the neighbourhood. Dense Seattle and downtown Bellevue sites mean tight staging, shared sidewalks and overnight or pre-open windows. Suburban and strip-centre locations across Redmond, Issaquah, Lynnwood and Everett have their own lots and rear service access, which makes the back-of-house half far easier to work. Patio-heavy spots in Kirkland, Woodinville and Bothell put the seasonal front-of-house work front and centre.

Choose your city for how we schedule and stage locally.

Don't see your city? We work across the greater Seattle area, roughly an hour out from Kenmore. See the full service area, or call (425) 298-7041 and we'll tell you straight away whether you're in range.
